Metal laser cutting
Cutting with a laser beam is a quick and easy way to produce sheets with the right contour and hole pattern. Practically free of burrs, highly accurate and without damage to the sheet surface. It can also cut sheets with a film without problems.
For laser cutting of metal sheet, Van Schijndel Metaal possesses the Bystronic Bysprint 3015 fiber laser cutter, fitted with automatic change table.
This laser cutting machine can cut ordinary steel up to 8mm thick and stainless steel up to 6mm thick. The maximum sheet dimensions for laser cutting of metal that can be processed are 3,000 x 1,500 mm.
Van Schijndel Metaal cuts all materials with nitrogen. Cutting with nitrogen means that the cutting edge remains free of the oxide skin. Cutting with oxygen always results in an oxide skin, which must be removed before any subsequent paint treatment.
Laser cutting and metal? It's a combination that requires a great deal of specialised knowledge and technology in the area of metals and laser cutting. We are keen to exceed your expectations.
